So, it seems like the financial world is falling apart all around you… stock markets in free fall, pensions and retirements disappearing with it… you can’t get car loan or a mortgage… you or someone you love has just lost a job… happiness may feel completely out of reach…

With all falling and falling, you probably cannot believe your eyes… you will probably think your eyes are playing tricks on you… and if you are still wearing glasses, you might want to consider getting rid of your eye glasses and go ahead and call a local Lasik Eye Surgeon, Dr. Robert T Lin I think that if you still wear glasses you really need to consider Lasik Los Angeles – I would probably imagine that you may glad you did… and so will your eyes.

But, what will really make you happy ?

More money ? A bigger house ? A new car ? A new IPhone ?

Fast forward to your death bed… surrounded by your loved ones… you are 109 years old give or take a few years… you begin to think about the good times, the good memories, the things that really mattered in life… what comes to mind ?

Money ? A big house ? Nice cars ? Gadgets ?

Yes… ? No ?

Well, I have done this same excercise and what always rises to the top ten list is not Money or A big house or Nice cars or even cool Gadgets… instead, what always sticks out in my mind are times spent with my family and close freinds… I wonder if you have the same result ? If you do… I ask you to spend a little time each day thinking about this fact… the fact that when its all over… the things that are really going to matter are the little things… the quality time with your family… a family card game, a holidy gathering, a trip to the Pumpkin Patch, etc…

Are you really happy now ?

Spent the money, now we have the bills to prove it

So, after years of unfettered spending… just refinancing like mad… opening and increasing credit lines… cash advances, pleasure cruises, spending sprees, high priced dinners 5 times a week, vacations, cars, jewlery… yeah, it was probably a lot of fun… a lot of happiness was proabably momentarily acheived during all of this…

But, now here are in late 2008, and we are stuck with a stack of bills that could reach the moon… everyone I know is stuffed full of credit card bills, HELOC’s, etc… no one knows what to do anymore…

Are you happy now ? probably NOT!
